Max walked into the bar. She just really needed a drink. It had been about two years since her last one. That was when she had gotten completely wasted with Mat, before they started fighting. He had talked her into it, and Max just whent with it. The only reason she had gotten in, was about ten years before that, her friend had made her a fake ID. All she needed to do know was change the date of birth so it showed she was okay to drink. Because if not, it would say she was a lot older then the miminum age. "One bear please," she asked at the counter.
Max had slapped money down and the guy looked at it then looked back at Max, "ID please," he said in a rough voice. Max said nothing but handed him her fake ID. Examining it, he handed it back and pulled out a bear from behind the counter. All Max did was nod and take it. With one swig, Max walked over to a table and sat down setting the bear on the table. All around her was men sitting there drunk as can be talking with their worthless friends. They would all be easy pickings. Ones with no one that cared if they where gone.

Jace walked into the local bar, it wasn't his first time here. He had been here every single night for the past two weeks, marking targets. On ocassion he would use it for hook ups and one night stands but they were meaningless. He went straight to the bar to order a bottle of vodka, thankfully the man didn't ask for his ID anymore so he'd been leaving it at home for awhile now. As soon as he turned around to scan the area he spotted a familiar face.
Maxwell. What would she be doing here? I hadn't pegged her for a drinker. He took his bottle and walked over to her table, she seemed to alone dispite all the cute guys around her. Maybe tonight wouldn't be so boring afterall. "Maxie. Nice to see you again." Jace smiled warmly at her and sat across the table, finnally relaxed enough to take his first drink.

A smile crossed Max's face as she heard a firmiliar voice. Then saw the face that whent along with it. It was Jase. The vampire she had met several nights ago in the park. Max really liked Jase. He was nice, at least for the most part. She also got him being coky and manipulative. But Max still liked him. "Same with you Jase," Max said taking another swig of her bear. This night, she was not going to get as drunk as she and Mat had. That night had been a travesty. Even Mat had admitted that it was a bad idea.

Jase smiled back and pounded the bottle of vodka until there was no more left. Maybe I shouldn't drink so much, or maybe I should drink more... Jase looked over at Maxie and a wicked idea crossed his mind. "Hey Maxie, I've been thinking. Maybe you and I could have a little fun." he suggested looking saddly at his empty bottle of vodka. Here he was only two minutes in the club and he'd already drank somthing that would usually take him at least thirty minutes.

A sly smile crossed over Max's face. Then she took one more swig of bear that finished of the bottle. What kind of fun did Jase have in mind? The idea really intrigued Max for some unknown reason. "Well... What find of fun did you have in mind Jase?" she asked staring up to go get a vodka. She put her finger up to show she would be back in only a moment. Walking over to the counter, "One vodka," she said as the guy handed her one. Max nodded and made her way back to the table taking a sip of her drink.

Jase saw Maxie come back with a bottle of vodka and was slightly jelous. Why? He didn't know why maybe he was drunk, who knew. He smiled at her question then tried to remember what he was thinking before. "Oh yeah. I was thinking perhaps we could play a drinking game." With that he walked to the counter and got two more bottles of vodka, all for him. I wonder how many bottles of vodka it takes to make a vampire drunk.

The right corner of her mouth lifted into another smile. It was a bad idea, Max just knew it. But it did sound fun. A drinking game was just what she and Mat had that led to many bad things. But ow well. "It's a bad idea," she said with a small laugh taking another drink of vodka. "But let's do it," she said then finished of her vodka. Man if they did this, she would have a wicked hangover. But it would still be fun. Getting drunk always felt good. But she didn't like to think of what would happen tomorrow.

Jase felt his heart drop when she said it was a bad idea, that put a complete and total damper on his plans for this evening. Then he heard her say those magic words. "But lets do it." He smiled and uncapped his first bottle of vodka. "Good to hear! Now first one to reach twenty wins. Starting now." And with that he began to drink the first bottle.

Max nodded taking a deep breath. She looked at her vodka and took a large swallow finishing it off. That was the last of it. Standing up, Max walked over to the counter. "Three more vodkas," she said brushing her hair from her face. The guy gave her a look of, you really need that many. "I'm not driving," Max told him as he rolled his eyes and handed them to her. Walking over, Max took three large drinks of one of her vodkas. She finished one off and began on her other. Then she wonders just how much she could drink and not be drunk.

Jase soon followed suite, finishing the first bottle then the second. He looked over at Max then walked over to the bar. "I need 16 bottles of vodka ongoing. Deliver them to the table over there." He pointed towards the table and the bartender gave him a suspicious look. Jase knew it looked bad, but who cared. "Don't worry we're walking home, and I'll pay for everything. The bartender gave him three bottles up front and Jase paid for the others. He walked back to the table and sat next to Max, smiling as he continued to drown the fourth bottle.

Max finally finished off her fourth vodka. It really did tast good. Jase came back with three more. Max took her other drink and downed just over half of it. Her the back of her throat didn't burn quiet yet. But it probably would really soon. By the time Max got up in the morning, if she even did get up before noon tomorrow. Jase probably wouldn't get drunk when she did. He would probably get drunk a bottle or two after her. Max swallowed down her firth bottle and began to start on her sixth one.

Four, five, six, seven...sixteen. So much to drink in one night, Jase was starting to feel the affects of the vodka. He didn't consider himself drunk, but Maxie looked like Ashton Kutcher, and the floor looked like pizza. "Three more." He said simply uncapping number eighteen, it had been awhile since he drank twenty vodkas back to back, hopfully he could hold out longer than Maxie. Maybe I should join the AA, I'll think about it after one more drink.

Know at her sixteenth bottle, and Jase's sixteenth. Max was starting to think she defiantly was drunk. Ow gosh, Max looked up at Jase and just started to laugh. She didn't know why. It was just something that she did when she was drunk. At that point, Max was sure that she was defiantly sure of it. "I... c-can't ... see... you," Max managed out between outbursts of laughter, her vision was starting to get very blurry. She finished off her seventeenth bottle of vodka. Then Max began to take swigs of the eighteenth bottle that sat in front of her.

"Have you had enough? Or do you want to keep going to twenty?" He asked smiling, Jase was definitly drunker than drunk, and of course he was getting sleepy too. It didn't matter to him if she stopped he'd keep going. He quickly counted the bottles he'd already dranken... eighteen, nineteen. Last one. Jase pounded the last bottle like he did the first one, making it look easy.

All max seemed to be able to do, was shake her head and nod. When she attempted to count her bottles at first, she got thirty-two. But that couldn't be right. In reality, she had drunk nineteen so far. Wow, that was a lot. Max looked at her last one and took a swig. Know, there was about two-thirds left inside the bottle. It seemed that no thoughts where going around in her head. Max couldn't keep all her thoughts straight. With one more huge swig, Max downed the very last of her drink. "Done," she managed to get out.
