Arianna trudged in the rain using a magazine she found on the ground as an umbrella. Lightning struck and thunder boomed and almost scared her half to death. The droplets stung her tender skin like little bumble bee stings. She picked up the pace as she saw the beaming lights of BELLAGIO CASINO. She had heard of it before and knew that there were hotels there.
In only ten minutes she was entering the most luxurious hotel she had ever seen. She dropped the magazine in shock. Her jaw hung open, but she closed it as people began to stare. Arianna hurried over to the front desk and asked the clerk for a room. He asked what room. "Anything you can find me." She asked with a plead in her voice. Arianna had not found a home yet. She moved in from Illinois and apartments were a lot more expensive that she had thought. For a moment she felt this rush of heat inside her. She turned her head and saw many people staring at her with disgust. Arianna looked down at her clothes. She had forgotten that she was wearing her old jeans and a sweatshirt. Not exactly 'classy'. Plus she was soaking wet. From dripping hair to soggy shoes. The clerk tapped on her shoulder and handed her a key. She paid him and let a nice man that worked at the hotel show her to her room.
He opened the double doors to the most beautiful room she had ever seen. "Thank you." She calmly said as he closed the door behind her. Arianna squealed and jumped onto the soft bed. She smiled with relief and tossed her wet purse onto the floor. Her blue eyes gazed around the room with happiness. "I can't believe I'm staying here!" She ran over to the window and pulled open the curtains. An amazing view of L.A. made Arianna gasped at the beautiful view. Her stomach growled and then she realized how hungry she was.
She opened the door and peaked down the hallway. She took a right and headed for the elevator. Arianna stepped in and pressed the L button for the Lobby. Once she got down she walked up to the front desk to ask where the buffet was.
